Controversy in Oriya Cinema : "SWAYAM SIDDHA-A girl on red corridor" which is  based upon the Maoist Naxalist Movement in Orissa / Odisha, has faced Controversy. The case has reached to Coart and Police personnels  have reviewed the film and report will be produced in coart. 

The BJP youth wing has demanded  to ban the movie as star MP Siddhanta Mohapatra who has acted in  the lead role of maoist leader as Area Commander of Naxal Movement, which will indirectly encourage naxal movement.
